Role:
-Act as a general helpline for all technical aspects of the site within the usual hour's senior team is available
-General maintenance and error fixing for the site both at the macro and low-level code level.
-Implementing new features on the site and social media platforms
-Consulting with sections to work out what is possible for special campaigns and unique features from a technological standpoint and if possible implementing them.
-Developing software and strategies to track user engagement on the website and social media platforms
- Analysing the incoming data from analytics/Facebook insights etc. and presenting to the online team in an easy to understand format to inform what content is working both in regards to views and engagement across the publications digital distribution platforms.
- Consulting with business to help develop reports for prospective advertisers and tracking advertising engagement like ad clicks to help positively increase advertising engagement

-Helping with more broad software use by the team for various media formats, primarily focused on the Adobe Creative Cloud.
Skills:
Essential:
-A strong technical aptitude and ability to learn various software’s on the fly
-Knowledge of at least one programming language
-Ability to communicate technology in an easy to understand way.
Recommended:
-Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
-Knowledge of Photoshop, PremierPro
-Undertaking a degree with a programming and data analysis component
Desired:
-Strong aptitude for the Adobe CC
-Knowledge of Handlebars, Node
-Experience with SEO and related areas.
