After being compelled to put on hold their live shows for two long years, The Bristol Suspensions are back for an electrifying evening of showstoppers that are guaranteed to sweep you off your feet.

They are on their way for the most adrenaline pumping high-racing a cappella show of the year. The University of Bristol based mixed vocal ensemble, The Bristol Suspensions, proudly present their End of Year Show at the iconic 1532 Performing Arts Centre.

Founded in 2014, The Bristol Suspensions sealed their reputation as one of the finest a cappella ensembles in the UK with two highly acclaimed studio albums. After stiff competition up against a host of a cappella groups from across the country, The Bristol Suspensions were crowned the ICCA UK champions for 2021. They are renowned for their soaring vocals, innovative vocal percussions and sophisticated choreography that have won them a loyal fan base over the years. They have also featured on BBC One's Pitch Battle, ITV's This Morning and BBC Radio Bristol.

They take the raw energy of human voice as the starting point and sublimate it to a mercurial finish, as featured in their slick rendition of Dua Lipa’s chart-topper, ‘Hallucinate’, or their critically acclaimed latest single, an arrangement of ‘In Case You Don't Live Forever’ by Ben Platt.

Speaking to Epigram on their long-awaited live show, ensemble manager Alessia Doyle said “We are looking forward to be performing our End of Year Show after three long years of not having one. We missed it enormously but we kept performing virtually and have been proactive with our new material.”

The show is to feature an array of sensational a cappella numbers as you have never heard or seen before with vocal gymnastics and dynamic choreography. It is also graced with the special guest appearances from Hetta Falzon and Algorhythm.

Brace yourself for a rollercoaster ride as the brilliant Bristol Suspensions tread the boards on the 30 April at the 1532 Performing Art Centre, Bristol. Tickets are available here.
