Bristol SU have released the new locations for a range of their services moving to Senate House in an email sent to students this morning.
The bulk of the transition is due to take place over the Easter Break.
The decision follows an announcement made by Bristol SU in November to transition into a more ‘multi-site organisation.’
This was prompted by student feedback indicating that the Richmond Building was situated too far away from the main campus.
However, the move has been opposed by a number of student societies who are concerned that group and study spaces will be lost.
From Monday 22 April in each space students will be able to find:
The Richmond Building
· Bristol SU Shop
· Bristol SU Event Spaces
· Bristol SU Activity Rooms
Floor 5 Senate House
· Bristol SU Welcome Desk
· Bristol SU Academic Advice
· Bristol SU Staff team
· Bristol SU Activity Rooms
· Bristol SU Development team meetings
Most SU services will be accessible exclusively online from Friday 12 April until Friday 19 April, except for the Bristol SU Lettings and SU Shop which will remain open throughout the transition period.
