Preview: IN.Film Society's first ever showcase, Filmstock 2018
Patrick Sullivan preview's the University of Bristol's film making society's first showcase.
The University’s recently conceived and only practical filmmaking society, IN.Film prides itself on simply getting out there and creating content, whether it be short film, slightly longer short films, or mini-series.
This Wednesday (6th June) from 3pm onwards, the society are holding their first ever public showcase - and all of their work they have produced this year will be shown. Five short films, two guest speakers, and the first two episodes of their anthology series will all be shown at the inaugural event at Cafe Kino, Stokes Croft Road, before the DJs come out and the mingling begins.
There is a small capacity of tickets for £4 (+ booking fee) and the event is close to selling out. See the Facebook event for ticket information and further details.

Beginner Directors Project
Witness (10 mins) - Witness shows a moment of the day of a man whose job is to make sure that Fate plays out as planned.
Tongue Tied (10 mins) - Mute Mike has a secret, Ward knows that. She breaks into his house to find it.
Inevitable (10 mins) - A fantastical story of a young woman who realises she is being followed by a mysterious being.

Longer Shorts
You’re Mine (15 mins) - In.Film’s first production, You’re Mine features Molly, a university student whose life falls aparts after she realises someone is stalking her.
Train of Thought (15 mins) - A grieving young man goes through his girlfriend’s stuff, reminiscing of the times they had.

Long Haul Series
Long Haul is a series that follows a flat of freshers who have to deal with the sudden loss of one of their flatmates. Each episode deals with a different stage of grief, associated with one of the characters.
