Whether you’re tired, ill or stressed, unfortunately the effects are shown on your face, visible for the whole world to see. Spots, redness and dark circles are the usual culprits. A decent concealer can work wonders, miles better than piling on the foundation.
My personal weapons of choice are Clarins’ Instant Concealer and bareMinerals’ Bareskin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer. They are equally excellent in terms of coverage and both blend into the skin with ease.
The Clarins concealer is a whopping 15ml for just £22.50, so fantastic value for money. However, it does have a smaller shade range than the bareMinerals and because of its screw top and nozzle, is better for use at home rather than on the go.
The bareMinerals has a larger shade range and is great for touch ups when out and about. I prefer it under my eyes mostly because it’s so lightweight and doesn’t sit in any fine lines.
Use your ring finger to gently pat in the product or a synthetic flat concealer brush. For any particularly stubborn blemishes, set the concealer by pressing it with some powder. Now you can stay up until stupid o’clock! You’re welcome.
