What is #14 conversations

From March 13th every day for two weeks, we will be posting a new piece of content about people’s first experience of having a conversation about their mental health. This will either be in the form of articles or podcasts

From March 13th every day for two weeks, we will be posting a new piece of content about people’s first experience of having a conversation about their mental health. This will either be in the form of articles or podcasts.

Why are we doing it?

It’s no secret that many Bristol students this year have felt like they’ve been struggling to get the mental health support they need. Epigram is saying enough is enough: it’s time to stand together to show fellow students who might be going through tough times that we will not stop until they get the help that they deserve.

What are we hoping to achieve?

We will be using our BT donate page to raise money for a local, free mental health service:Off The Record. OTR provide counselling, support groups and information of local people aged 11-25 who may be struggling with mental health problems. They are doing a great job but they can’t do it without financial support.

How can you help?

You can use the hashtag #14Conversations on twitter to share your story of your first conversation about mental health, who you go to for advice when you need it, or any advice you have for people who want to open up about their mental health. You can share our articles and videos to increase awareness and you can donate to OTR directly via our BT donate page.
