Bristol Film Festival’s Underground Cinema Season

Classic cult-horror films come to Redcliffe Caves for Bristol Film Festival’s Third Birthday. By Film Editor Charlie Gearon.

This weekend, March 9th-11th, Redcliffe Caves will be transformed into a military-style bunker and host a range of screenings of classic cult films.

For the second straight year, the Underground Cinema season will screen an eclectic range of horror and drama films, spanning over 50 years of cinema.

Films on the bill include Pulp Fiction (1994), Donnie Darko (2001), Mullholland Drive (2001) and Labyrinth (1986). Two cut-price matinee screenings on the Saturday and Sunday will also take place, screening vintage-horrors Cape (1962) and Peeping Tom (1960) respectively.
