500 e-bikes, known as WESTbikes, will be added to the TIER service tomorrow (Thursday).
They will be available to use through the TIER app.
The e-bikes will cost the same to hire as an e-scooter: £1 to unlock and 16p per minute to ride.
Not all the existing e-scooter bays are available for the e-bikes to park in. This is due to their comparatively larger size.
A map of the e-bike parking bays can be found here and a guide on how and where to park an e-bike in Bristol is here.
Some will be deployed today (Wednesday) in preparation. WESTcargo bikes will be available in the coming weeks.
🛴It's all change this Saturday as @tier_mobility begins its rollout of e-scooters across Bristol, with e-bikes and cargo bikes to follow.

Jessica Murphy, Head of Public Policy at TIER UK commented: 'E-bikes are great for longer journeys and great for people who would rather be seated while travelling and with the front basket suit people taking a journey with a bigger bag.
'With the addition of the WESTbike e-bikes we have added another 500 vehicles to the Bristol fleet, improving availability at the same time as bringing a new mode to the city.
'This is the first time e-bikes have been added to the micro-mobility service in Bristol, there will be a period of adjustment as we make changes to ensure we are meeting the needs of users. We hope the public enjoys the new vehicles and are inspired to try out some new trips by WESTbike!'
