The infamous Bristol kebab van has returned after its year-long closure.
A staple of Bristol student nightlife, the Jason Donervan has reopened over a year after the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to close.
Ever-popular with students at the Triangle club circuit pre-Covid, the Donervan will now be operating without an influx of drunken customers leaving Gravity and Lizard Lounge.

After a long wait we are now up and running! It’s been a difficult time for all of us,but we can’t wait to see you guys again. Thanks for all your support. From Jason.(We’re currently doing cash only)#universityofbristol #UWE #jasondonervan #bristol #BristolCity pic.twitter.com/FJB94e3F4T
However, with the recent partial easing of lockdown restrictions, the reopening of the Donervan will be a welcome return for Bristolians after a night out on the Clifton Triangle.
The Donervan is located on Queen’s Road, outside Beacon House and is operating cash-only.
In an announcement on Twitter, “Jason” said: ‘After a long wait we are now up and running! It’s been a difficult time for all of us, but we can’t wait to see you guys again.’
