There's no better way to get in to the full Christmas spirit than by having a practise-run at eating your heart out alongside your housemates. Whipping up a snow-storm should not be difficult, but should be a fun and memorable experience.
Dressing up:
Encouraging your housemates to wear Christmas jumpers, or even fully dress up for this event is a must! This may even mean going as far as knocking the dust off last year's elf costume. The wackier the better!
Ambience:
Set the table with plates, glasses, and don't forget the christmas crackers! Many shops around Bristol have introduced toy-less christmas crackers, which donate money spent on each cracker toy to charity instead. But fear not! Those cracking jokes and facts are still included in these!
You can even construct an image of a warm living room by projecting a 2 hour 'crackling fire place' on your tv! Just use this link to warm your room up immediately! 2 hour fireplace video
Food:
Figuring out which meat to base your roast around can be difficult! Individual breasts per person is usually easiest, taking less time to cook and deboning the meat. Vegetarian option may include a nut-roast or even some veggie sausages!
Versatile deserts include gingerbread men (recipe), as are easy to make and loved by all.

Entertainment:
Classic group games such as Monopoly, Articulate, and Charades are ideal for large groups of people. If you live in a larger house or flat, chocolate reindeer hunts are always successful.
This is also an ideal time to exchanging secret santa gifts and possibly even hit the triangle for a festive boogie
