On the 20th of February, KILIMANJARO erupted erupted into a fiery performance during a secret event hosted by Lost Track of Time in celebration of his new track, 'Come Towards the Light'.

The slightly unprecedented venue, Jacobs, which sits along an unassuming row of shops near the Bristol Royal Infirmary represented the first of three launch parties to celebrate the new release of KILIMANJARO's long awaited new track 'Come Towards the Light'.

The pop-up rave, hosted by Lost Track of Time brought the group's iconic groove, bringing their notorious disco and house vibes to party with a reading-week induced, age-diverse room of punters.

KILIMANJARO is a natural performer. Spinning in circles, jumping on tables, his captivating set was received with warm approval from the crowd. He even shelled out special KILIMANJARO scarves and USBs to those lucky enough to be able to attend.

Lost Track of Time and KILIMANJARO (who's real name is Josh Kilimanjaro) have worked together on multiple occasions now, with Tommy Pollock and Toby Ingham Thomas, the two figureheads of Lost Track of Time, meeting him while out skiing and their relationship has soared since.

They have also worked together previously with KILIMANJARO headlining Lost Track of Time's sell out Halloween show at motion alongside other huge names such as P-rallel and O'Flynn.

I spoke to Tommy about his relationship with Josh and his experience with how he finds smaller events such as the one last week compared to gigs like the one on Halloween.

He spoke incredibly highly about KILIMANJARO, mentioning that they have tended to bump into each other by coincidence all the time and have built up a close relationship with him and his management team. Tommy sayid that as soon as they heard they wanted to put on a pop-up show, it was an easy decision to get right involved.

Outlining his love of the smaller shows, Tommy sheepishly admits that the bigger events 'require a lot more work'. But it is clear that to Lost Track of Time, their priorities lie in building a solid community that allows a safe and enjoyable experience to those attending.

Looking forwards to what you can expect in the future, Lost Track of Time are now planning again one of their famous day parties. It will be their first headline show of the year and one that cannot be missed.

Tommy couldn't give away too much about who will lead the lineup but he promises big performances that fit the 'disco and house vibe' and 'represent their sound very well.'
