The first headliners have been announced as Bristol Sounds returns to its harbourside home from the 25th – 29th of June. One of the city’s leading live music events, the open-air concert series, renowned for its eclectic lineup selection, maintains its reputation with this year's names proving no exception.

Backdropped by Bristol's Amphitheatre on the harbourside's waterfront, the five-night gig series draws music lovers from across the South West, showcasing some of the industry's biggest names.
Performing as part of their 30-year anniversary reunion tour, in which the band perform their debut album I Should Coco in its entirety, indie-rock legends Supergrass will bring the' 90s energy to Bristol on Wednesday 25th, with crowd pleasers 'Alright' and 'Caught by the Fuzz' sure to ignite some nostalgia.
Festival favourites Kaiser Chiefs will start a riot on Thursday 26th, with classics 'Ruby' and 'I Predict A Riot': staple anthems of the UK indie scene. Inciting some noughties chaos ten years since the band last played Bristol's Amphitheatre, frontman Ricky Wilson promises an energetic evening.
Finally, 'Troublemaker' pop sensation Olly Murs will take to the stage on Sunday 29th, closing the week with feel-good anthems and infectious showmanship. A household name ever since his X-Factor success in 2009, 'Dance With Me Tonight' is sure to be the perfect festival finale.
In anticipation of the festival, Conal Dodds, promoter at Crosstown Concerts said, 'we can’t wait to bring Bristol Sounds back to the harbourside for another incredible year' ... 'there’s always such great energy at the Amphitheatre from the artists and the crowds and Bristol Sound is more than just gigs; it’s a celebration of live music, right here in the heart of the city.'
