Banksy mural appears in Bristol overnight
By Megan Evans, News Subeditor.
A new Banksy piece has appeared in Vale Street, Totterdown.
The mural depicts an old woman sneezing, with her false teeth flying out.
A small crowd gathered to view the piece this by 11am this morning, with many people taking photos and posing, as if they were being blown back by the woman’s sneeze.
It is being suggested that the piece references COVID-19, as Banksy murals often relate to current affairs.
Bristol’s Vale Street is famous for being the steepest street in England, boasting a 22-degree gradient. It hosts an annual egg-rolling competition every year.
