The Croft Magazine // Whilst the prospect of Spring outings feels very much like wishful thinking at the moment, we can nonetheless still explore what is booming this season.

Pastels for Spring hardly seems ground-breaking, however, you cannot escape the sea of lilac and lavender on the high street at the moment.

My favourite pieces are this gorgeous blue lilac & Other Stories jumper and this amazing colour blocked lilac trench coat from ASOS Design. When styling pastels beige is an excellent colour choice, or even mix pastel with pastel as often both colours diffuse the other to create a chic look.

If pastels are a too feminine for you, all is not lost. Experiment with textures like this glam pastel yellow leather co-ord from Remain Birger Chirstensen, to make this trend work for you.

Another trend present this spring is scoop neck tops. Yes, on first glance maybe a scoop neck top seems a tad granny and as if it should be worn by a middle age beautician called Tracey; however, they can actually be super chic styled in the right way.

An influencer favourite this season has been the Khaite ribbed knit scoop top but if £975 is not your budget & Other Stories scoop tee is a great dupe. Style with wide leg trousers and chunky trainers or boots and you are good to go.

'Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking.' Yes, it's cliché, but we love a floral really

There we have it two key trends to keep in mind when shopping for your Spring Summer wardrobes.
