**Sustainability Month 2019 is brought to you by the Bristol SU RAG, Volunteering and Sustainability Network in collaboration with sustainability societies across the university to organise a full month of events. This year there are four weeks which are packed full of panels, talks, workshops, volunteering opportunities and more. **
Here are some of the highlights to look out for:
Sustainabili-tea and chat!
Tuesday 5 February, 12-2pm, Bristol SU Living Room
Join the sustainability team and their represented societies for an informal conversation in the SU living room. We welcome you to start conversation, ask questions about sustainability and discuss how we can create change now!
Zero Waste Fair
Sunday 10 February, 12-5pm, Bristol SU
Come along to the Students’ Union to meet business, charities and causes that support the Zero Waste initiative and learn how you can reduce your own impact and waste less.
Clothes Swap with BUST and Bristol Hub
Friday 22 February, 11am, Bristol SU
Feel like you're bored with your current wardrobe? Got too many clothes lying around you don't wear but know someone else would love? Look no further because this is the perfect event to attend to completely renovate your wardrobe.
Simply bring along pieces of clothing you think someone else would love, and then pick up some new pieces for yourself! Best of all, it’s completely free.
Careers in Sustainability
Monday 25 February, 6-8pm, Arts Complex LT3, Woodland Road
Simmone Ahiaku is a Bristol alum who now works as the Fossil Free Campaigns Coordinator for People & Planet. Her job is to help students and employees around the country with their environmental campaigns, providing them with advice, resources and a wealth of expertise. Simmone will be talking about her experience working in activism, the importance of supporting sustainable movements and how you can pursue a career in environmentalism.
