Headliners have been announced for one of the UK's most progressive, future-thinking festivals, as FORWARDS returns to Clifton Downs on August 23rd & 24th with another year of stellar international music acts set to get Bristol buzzing.
As teaser billboard posters popped up around the city last week, fans speculated possible headliners for the festival, which last year welcomed greats such as LCD Soundsystem and Loyle Carner.
This year promising equally as exciting names, Doechii, Jorja Smith, Barry Can't Swim, and Ezra Collective are just a handful of the talent set to perform over the bank holiday weekend.
Headlining on Saturday night, renowned electronic producer and DJ Barry Can't Swim will provide the party with his jazz-infused beats and pulsating house rhythms.
As well as Mercury winners and recent Brit Award recipients Ezra Collective, with their critically acclaimed jazz, afro-beat, hip-hop sound.
Joined also by Confidence Man, Orbital, Mount Kimbie, English Teacher, The Happy Mondays and local talent Katy J Pearson, the weekend is sure to kick off with a bang.
Making her Bristol debut on the Sunday, Grammy winner Doechii will close the festival with her Grammy award-winning album Alligator Bites Never Heal.

Alongside plenty more female talent, Jorja Smith, The Last Dinner Party and neo-soul sensation Olivia Dean will also be sharing Sunday's stage.
A hugely exciting and diverse weekend of music, Tom Paine, co-founder of festival organisers Team Love, said: 'FORWARDS is back for its fourth year, and we couldn’t be prouder. Each year it grows, evolves and delivers even more for the city of Bristol and beyond.'
Also welcoming progressive thinkers and social initiative discussion to the festival's infamous INFORMATION stage, the weekend is sure to be an unforgettable and inspiring close to the summer.

Ticket pre-sale commences 5th March at 10am, with general onsale the following day, 6th March, at 10am also.
