Having celebrated nine successful consecutive years in Birmingham, Bristol Cocktail Weekend arrives to our city this week, promising four days of handcrafted and specialised cocktails to enjoy all around the city.

Between Thursday 28th September – Sunday 1st October, eventgoers can expect a proper cocktail experience in some of the city’s world-class bars. Each will be serving up a signature cocktail of their own for just £6, making the event perfect for students looking to try out some new cocktails or for freshers wanting to familiarise themselves with the city’s night-life offerings.

The event extends across the whole city, including Bristol and Bath Rum Distillery, the popular student haunt on Park Street, and Milk Thistle on Colston Avenue. Filthy XIII in Stokes Croft are also taking part, alongside Her Majesty’s Secret Service on Whiteladies Road.

Epigram spoke to Founder & Director, Alex Nicholson-Evans, who shared her excitement for the event: ‘We’re counting down the days until Bristol Cocktail Weekend officially starts later this week.

'Festival goers are in for such a treat, with the best cocktail bars in the city all serving up a £6 signature cocktail exclusively for wristband wearers. Plus we have a whole host of food offers and a programme of special events too.

'Fancy a gin tasting boat tour? A drink-a-long film screening? An ice carving masterclass? We’ve got all that and loads more too.’

To get involved, head to their website to look at tickets, which start at £10. The wristband also gives you access to plenty of food offers and a programme of cocktail-themed events over the weekend.
