Another of the city’s major summer festivals has confirmed it will run in 2021. It comes days after Tokyo World Festival released a similar announcement, in the wake of Government lockdown easing plans.

Love Saves the day will take place on September 3rd and 4th, some four months later than usual, and with a reduced capacity. The event usually attracts around 23,000 people to its site in Eastville Park. Though the organisers have confirmed that the location will be changed for this year, the new site is yet to be revealed.

‘Due to the initial success of the vaccine program and recent announcements from the government, we are feeling positive that well-organised and managed outdoor events will be able to take place later this summer,’ reads a statement on the event’s website.

‘Our plans that we are working to will be a strictly limited attendance with much more space and facilities. ’ ‘When tickets do go back on sale for 2021, they will obviously be of limited availability’. Tickets for the event go on sale on Thursday March 4th.
