The nightmare before Christmas: coursework deadline set for Christmas eve
By Imogen Horton, News Editor
First year Computer Scientists have been set a coursework deadline for midnight on the 24th December.
The coursework makes up 25 per cent of their grade.
A first year student told Epigram: 'The deadline is really inconvenient since we only get a week to do a coursework that's worth so much of our grade, and it's the week right before Christmas.'
'Also the deadline is on Christmas Eve, when I would rather be with my family than worry about my university degree.'

A University of Bristol spokesperson told Epigram: 'The Faculty of Engineering has been made aware of assessment deadlines falling during the vacation period.
'These deadlines have now been reviewed, and students will be notified shortly of the changes. We are sorry for any confusion or concern this has caused.
'The deadlines should have been identified through routine checking, but unfortunately as we often work in academic weeks rather than specific calendar weeks, it was missed in this instance.
'We are considering all upcoming deadlines to understand if this affects any other areas of teaching.'
