Living on a student budget may prove difficult when it comes to having a sophisticated few drinks out in the evening. However, Bristol has a lot to offer when it comes to a classy night out without breaking the bank.

Flipside Whiteladies road

This cocktail bar offer a cool and dark seating, with funky music. Not only are the staff friendly, but the cocktail making is a show to watch! It also offers an early happy hour until 7pm from Monday to Friday where all drinks are 2 for £10, meaning a cheap start to your night!

Her Majesty's Secret Service

You may have heard rumours about this secret bar, somehow situated in the busy Whiteladies road. Entrance is through what appears to be a phone box and finding the loo is a stressful yet interesting experience. Although the menu may seem to have high prices for their drinks, downloading the 'Wriggle' app on your mobile phone allows you to secure a 2 for £10 deal when they arise.

The Florist

Just a stone-throw away from Will's Memorial building, The Florist is situated on Park Street. This is also a restaurant, however the downstairs seating is a cocktail bar, with stunning floral decoration which is perfect for an insta-snap! The drinks are steeper in price, however is the price you pay for a lovely ambiance.

The Cosy Club

Located in city centre, this is a beautiful building which acts as a restaurant/cocktail bar. With its high ceilings and drooping chandeliers, you will feel like royalty as you sip your 2 cocktails for £9.95 from 4-8pm on any day aside from Saturday
