By Amelie Peters, Co-Deputy Music Editor
London's latest punk-rap sensation Bob Vylan are due to return to Bristol, touring their second album Humble as the Sun. The albums advocates for social change and depicts a clear snap shot of the class injustice within the uk, this and the strength of the drum work and rhythm create a clearly aimed second album.
The duo are set to take stage at Bristol's Marble factory on the 25th of October, tickets are out now and available on their website.
'You can read Karl Marx till your blue in the face' - 'Dream big', one of the first singles on the album offers a classic example of the roaring tenacious lyrics the album has to offer. Filled with rage the album contains sure to be anthems, 'Makes me violent', 'He's a man' and 'I'm still here'.
This album is filled with a boil in the blood anger, beautifully sculpted into language and sound. If there was ever a question of the validity and importance of politics in music Bob Vylan answer word for roar.
