With uploads that range from hour-long vlogs to ten-minute tutorials, these channels provide style inspiration, make-up tips and regularly make for the perfect study-break watch.

1. Sophia and Cinzia

Sophia and Cinzia, a pair of best friends from Nottingham, document their everyday lives on their channel. With holiday vlogs, cooking challenges and advice videos, their channel is varied but consistently hilarious. They don’t pretend to be make-up artists but instead upload chatty ‘Get Ready With Us’ videos where they explain how to achieve their simple, bronzey makeup looks. They love casual, affordable fashion and often upload massive clothing hauls from online brands like Pretty Little Thing or Missguided. They especially love joggers – a library staple – and are firm believers that pieces can be styled up or down. They have also teased their followers on Instagram with stories of a photoshoot and have dropped many hints that they are soon to release a clothing line!

2) Jordan Lipscombe

With a glossy set-up and around 1.5 million subscribers, Jordan Lipscombe is a big name in both the fashion and beauty worlds. She is a rigorous and honest critic who regularly puts make-up and fashion brands to the test. She will ‘splurge’ nearly £500 on a haul in order to investigate whether a brand’s products are worth their price-tags. She herself has released an affordable trio of eyeshadow and highlighter palettes with Beauty Bay. These palettes were an immense success and Jordan shows you how to use them to create intricate and professional looks in her tutorials.

3) Imogenation

Friend of Sophia and Cinzia, Imogen Hudson’s channel supplies similarly varied content that ranges from make-up testing videos to focused ‘Storytimes’ that are uploaded every Sunday. Imogenation focuses on positivity and calls her subscribers ‘the most loving family on the Internet’. This positivity extends to her view of beauty and fashion as she stresses the importance of feeling good in whatever make-up or clothes you decide to wear. She consistently favours drug store make-up and has recently released her own range of cruelty-free fake eyelashes within her brand Hunny Cosmetics.

4) Sarah Ashcroft

A recognisable face from Instagram, Sarah Ashcroft is now regularly uploading to her YouTube channel. With hauls, styling videos, make-up tutorials, interior design advice and skin-care routines, this channel has a little bit of everything. Sarah Ashcroft’s channel mixes the high and the low. One video may talk through pieces from high-end brands like House of CB but then the next will explain the must-buy drugstore make-up products. She also regularly pairs luxury items with those from the highstreet. This can be seen as styles Asos jeans and a jumper from her range with In the Style with Balenciaga Triple S trainers and a Chanel bag. She therefore shows her viewers what dreamy, designer pieces look like with everyday clothing items. Sarah Aschroft supplies an indulgent watch and her viewers are able to live vicariously through her as they are taken on a tour of her stunning home or are shown the pieces she is packing for February getaway to the Bahamas!
