Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams to speak at Bristol

The British actor is due to speak for the University of Bristol careers service on Monday, 4th February about careers in the creative and performing industries.

The British actor is due to speak for the University of Bristol careers service on Monday, 4th February about careers in the creative and performing industries.

Williams, who was born in Bristol, made her professional debut as Arya Stark in the extremely popular HBO series Game of Thrones. She made her film debut in The Falling (2014) and secured a recurring role in Doctor Who.

The 21 year old actor will cover her journey in the creative industries thus far, and introduce her app, aimed at people from across the creative industry and foster collaboration. It is hoped that the app will provide an 'alternative route' into the creative industries.

Faculty of Arts students can book their places from today here. The places will be opened up to students from other departments next Monday.

The talk will take place on Monday 4th February, 6.15 - 7.15 pm, location yet to be confirmed. The new, and final, series of Game of Thrones is due to premiere in the UK on the 15th April - Williams' 22nd Birthday.
