Daisy Hall previews Bugzy Malone's gig at O2 Academy Bristol, this Friday (02/11/18).

Bugzy Malone aka Aaron Davis has seen all three of his EP releases (Walk With Me, Facing Time and King Of The North) land in the top 10 of the UK Albums Chart and here’s hoping that his latest: B.Inspired can do the same. Two prominent singles off the album are 'Ordinary People' and 'Run', featuring JP Cooper and Rag’n’Bone Man respectively.

Both tracks have collectively amassed nearly 10 million Spotify plays, unsurprising since the message of both are intense and personal, drawn from Malone’s own life, as are many of his releases. The choice to reveal his life story through his lyrics is a conscious and successful decision.

And let’s be honest, Bugzy Malone has lived quite a life. After being expelled and a stint in prison, Malone began a boxing career with freestyling as a side hobby. After gaining YouTube popularity in 2010 with his mixtape SwaggaMan, Bugzy Malone started to pursue music as a viable career, reaping the rewards ever since and is currently on a UK tour with Bristol as a mid-way stop before heading to Cardiff on the 4th.

Bugzy Malone will be at Bristol’s O2 Academy on November 2nd for a sold-out gig promoting his latest Album B.Inspired.
