Did  Editor- in- Chief  Ben Parr and Izzy Sheldon’s blind date go according to plan at No.15 Stokes Croft?

What were your first impressions?
BP:“God, I hope I’m introducing myself to the right person!”
IS: “He waited outside the restaurant for me, which was very gentlemanly. I was a bit disappointed he wasn’t wearing his Epigram t-shirt.”

Ben says Izzy’s best feature is “her smile” and that if she were an animal, she’d be a “I don’t know , some sort of bird?”

Were there any awkward moments?

BP: “My card got declined booking the restaurant using some God-awful app.”
IS:“I fell on my arse as we walked to the Brass Pig…it still hurts.”

What did you like most about them?

BP: “Really enjoyable and interesting to talk to, conversation flowed easily.”
IS: He had a hilarious story for every occasion, like accidentally running as a Green Party candidate at local elections.”

Izzy says Ben’s best feature is “his eyes” and that if he were an animal he’d be an “otter”

Would you see each other again?

BP: “Definitely (hopefully without booking anything with an app, though).”
IS: “Yes, we’ve planned to see each other again.”

What happened at the end of the date?

BP: “Brass Pig kicked us out as they were closing.”
IS: “Double hug and a peck on the cheek.”
